COVID-19 Policy

In effort to provide as safe a play experience as possible to our participants, we are carefully monitoring the situation in regard to the continuing Covid-19 pandemic, concerns over variant strains, and vaccination efforts, as informed by the CDC and local agencies.  To that end, we have created the following policy regarding vaccination requirements for attendance at Backbeat Ballad LARP events.

We require all attendees to be vaccinated where able.

We will be requiring proof of vaccination for participation in Backbeat Ballad.  Your vaccination card, or picture of your vaccination card, shown at your first attended event, is sufficient.  The only records we will retain will be a list of individuals who have provided proof of vaccination. Any vaccine approved by the FDA or the World Health Organization will be accepted so long as the course is completed and any required waiting period has expired.  

If you are unable to be vaccinated, or do not have your vaccination card, we require that you remain masked at all times when engaging within LARP spaces.  We will provide disposable masks for attendees if needed.  If you are unable to mask and unvaccinated, we invite you to join us on a different day.

We encourage all attendees to still follow the recommended CDC guidelines regarding distance, hand-washing, and preemptive health screenings.

We will continue to monitor information about the Covid-19, concerns over variant strains, and vaccinations efforts. This policy may be revised as needed to accommodate new information or recommendations.
